About

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin. I love to surround myself with nature and that’s where I find the inspiration for what I create. My introduction to design came when I started to design and build sets for the high school I went to - I did this for a few years after graduation as well.

I love to create anything and everything. Illustration is my passion, but I make everything I can - from logos, to paintings, to rugs. I am always moving and learning.

One thing I learned about myself in my early adulthood is if I can do it myself, I want to know how. I am a very hands-on person. For example, I have recently learned how to change a cars brake pads. This type of mechanical interest became very helpful as I began to learn letterpress as well. I want to know how things work and how to fix something that’s broken.

That’s a huge part of Graphic Design which is why this is the path I am on. Solving problems is what I’m good at. Add in Art and I’m unstoppable.
